Dr. Camden Orologio received his doctorate degree (Au.D.) from the Long Island Doctor of Audiology Consortium, completing clinical rotations in both private practice and hospital settings. His desire to pursue a degree in audiology stems from his interest in the ability to integrate state-of-the-art technology into healthcare. Dr. Orologio’s clinical expertise includes diagnostic testing, as well as hearing aid selection and fitting. With an in-depth understanding of the most up-to-date hearing aid technology, he is able to match patients with devices specifically crafted for their lifestyles. As a native and longtime resident of Long Island, Dr. Orologio enjoys helping the community and providing solutions to hearing challenges.

Dr. Kimberly Shapiro graduated from Hunter College in 1998 with a master’s degree in Audiology. She returned to school to receive her doctorate degree from A.T. Still University’s Arizona School of Health Sciences in 2009. Dr. Shapiro has been in practice since 1998, working in several professional settings. These settings included a private hearing aid practice in Riverdale, NY, and a large head and neck surgical group in Manhattan, working with a team of ten ENT physicians, craniofacial specialists and speech-language pathologists. After moving from Manhattan to Long Island, Dr. Shapiro joined Hearing Help Associates (now HearingLife) in September 2008. At HearingLife, Dr. Shapiro continues her passion for changing lives every day for those in need of hearing help using amplification.

Leticia Ramirez has over 5 years of experience working with the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (D/HOH) community, both as an educator and an audiologist. Her background as a Deaf and Hard of Hearing educator inspired her to pursue a Doctor of Audiology (Au.D.) degree from Salus University at Drexel University, where she deepened her understanding of hearing health and expanded her expertise in the latest assistive technologies.

Throughout her career, Dr. Ramirez has worked in a variety of clinical settings, including ENT offices, hospitals, and private practices. This broad experience has given her a well-rounded perspective on hearing health, from diagnostic evaluations to treatment and rehabilitation.

As an audiologist, Dr. Ramirez specializes in diagnosing hearing loss and vestibular pathologies, conducting comprehensive evaluations, and recommending assistive technologies to enhance communication.

Her experience as both an educator and audiologist allows her to provide individualized care that addresses the unique academic, social, and communication challenges faced by individuals with hearing loss, offering solutions tailored to their specific needs.

Dr. Ramirez strives to provide the highest level of care and is passionate about helping individuals with hearing loss achieve better communication, independence, and quality of life.
