alexander thomas
Alexander Thomas - Hearing Instrument Specialist, Lic. #501
Alex Thomas grew up all over the East Coast throughout his life which sparked a love of people. That spark grew into a passion for helping people and he ultimately decided to enter the hearing field to become a hearing instrument specialist. He is fervent about his interest in the field and has become board certified, tinnitus certified, and a dementia practitioner. Alex is dedicated to hearing health education and improving his customers’ hearing however he can.

Mara Olivar
Mara Olivar is a Hearing Aid Dispenser licensed in the state of Arizona. She spent time as a hearing care provider for HearingLife in the Boston, MA area for three years before moving to Arizona to be closer to family and, of course, to enjoy the warmer weather! Mara is very passionate about helping others with their hearing healthcare needs, and is looking forward to getting to know the local Arizona communities.

Mara creates a welcoming environment that ensures customer satisfaction. She believes in the importance of building trust and strong relationships with everyone she sees. Healthy hearing is so important to achieving a better quality of life, and Mara will do whatever it takes to help her customers improve their hearing.

Simon Bobrovskii - Hearing Instrument Specialist Lic. #6545
Simon Bobrovskii started his career in the hearing industry in 2016 in Russia. He worked as a wholesale manager for a company that produces hearing instruments where he gained a lot of technical insights on how hearing aids function. Later, Simon realized that his real calling is to help people hear better in the field, so he took on a new role in the company as a training manager. He started educating doctors on better understanding the depths of hearing instruments and how patients can benefit from their different functions, options and adjustments.

In 2018 Simon moved to Kyiv, Ukraine where he was assigned as head of Bettertone hearing clinic where he diligently implemented all his knowledge to help people hear better, combining roles of hearing instrument specialist and training manager. Simon was also involved in 3D modeling and printing facility of the company, creating inside the ear hearing aids, custom molds and passive/active ear protection devices. Simon left Ukraine in 2022 and relocated to the United states, where he took part in apprentice program, receiving his HIS licenses for the states of Massachusetts and Connecticut.

Sue Stein - Hearing Instrument Specialist Lic. #454
Sue Stein was born and raised in Silver Spring, Maryland. She began working in the hearing healthcare field in Maryland after receiving a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Maryland, and currently practices in Peabody, Massachusetts. Sue is passionate about hearing health education in her Peabody office, as well as in the greater community through outreach programs. She is dedicated to working closely with her customers to address their specific challenges related to hearing and communication, and is committed to finding the best solutions. Sue has great empathy and familiarity with her customers’ communication challenges, as she was diagnosed with hearing loss and wears hearing instruments herself.
