Nicholas Stuart has been practicing audiology for over 20 years. He began his career at hospitals in New York City and at HearUSA, before starting his own business with offices in New York City and northern New Jersey. Nicholas joined HearingLife in 2012. He holds degrees from Syracuse University and CUNY. He works with pediatric through geriatric populations, focusing on cutting-edge technology, including rechargeable, invisible hearing aids and tinnitus management and remediation. Nicholas trains students, as well as new dispensers in the field, focusing on ethical and clinical best practices.

In his spare time, he enjoys traveling, reading, photography, painting and long road trips.

Dr. David Maloney grew up in Upstate New York. He has been a practicing audiologist since 2019. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Communication Disorders from The College of Saint Rose and continued on to receive his Doctor of Audiology degree from Montclair State University in 2023. He has completed clinical rotations at Hackensack Hospital, University Hospital, ENT & Allergy and at Hearing Life, where he’s been since 2021. Dr. Maloney takes the time to understand each patient’s unique needs and concerns. He specializes in comprehensive hearing evaluations, hearing aid fittings, and customized hearing rehabilitation plans. He believes in empowering his patients to reconnect with the sounds and conversations that matter most to them. He is also an advocate for hearing health awareness and frequently participates in community outreach programs to educate individuals about the importance of hearing protection and regular hearing check-ups. Outside of his clinical work, Dr. Maloney loves spending time with his family, playing softball, watching his favorite sports teams, and hiking mountains across the Northeast as he is an aspiring Adirondack 46er.

Sharon A. Stoor, BC-HIS, ACA, has specialized in fitting hearing aids, aural rehabilitation and counseling since 1986. She received a B.A. in Speech, Language and Hearing Sciences from Douglass College, is nationally board-certified and has completed coursework through the American Conference of Audioprosthology. Throughout her career, Sharon has been an instrumental part of a pilot program on digital hearing instruments. Sharon is committed to enhancing the communication abilities through education, advanced hearing instrument technology and quality care.

Great experience so far. We have been working with David Maloney and his staff to help improve my dad’s hearing, and so far so good!!! David has taken time to listen to my dad’s questions every time we visit. I take comfort in noticing that my dad is able to hear us better, making conversations much easier. Highly recommend!!!

The Hearing Life office in Morristown has excellent customer service. The front desk lady was very helpful and kind and speak Spanish so my mom was very happy to comunícate with her .

I have been seeing Nick for years now and he is amazing. He has so much patience and is extremely professional. Nick has exponential service and is always providing me with the best hearing aids possible. He always makes sure that I am happy and pleased with my hearing aids. Nick and his staff were fabulous! This is the first time we have visited the Morristown location and Nick couldn't have been more customer friendly and professional! He accommodated us with our scheduling requests and then was able to help my father with his hearing aid and ear problem. It is always a stressful time when you have a hearing difficulty and your aid is not working. They were able to alleviate the stress by calmly fixing the problem and reassuring my father that they were always there to help! Thank you again!
