Dixon Stopper grew up in the Portland, Oregon area with a love for reading and the outdoors. Helping others has always been a priority for him. Dixon began his career in the world of hearing healthcare in 2008 helping others with occupational hearing loss get their benefits through the Washington State Department of Labor and Industries. Dixon went on to own his own hearing care practices on the Oregon Coast. Desiring to be closer to family, he moved back to the Vancouver/Portland area. Dixon adopted 3 children from the foster care system, worked with special needs children, and has a huge appreciation for nature.

Dixon wears hearing aids and suffers from tinnitus. He shares his love of the hearing care field with his wife, who also works for HearingLife. His favorite saying is, "Working for HearingLife allows me to do what I love every day: helping people hear better and improving their quality of life!"

Dixon was very good at answering our questions and addressing my mother's issues. He was thorough and patient. We never felt rushed. The person at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. I would recommend them. 4 stars only because she just got the hearing aids and we still want to see how they suit her.

I am travelling from Europe with band new hearing aids so new to the game. My right aid stopped working which was a little distracting. I called Hearing Life by chance and was told that they didn’t deal with my brand but they were willing to take a look. What a wonderful group of people. I ended up being helped by one of the owners and she was amazing. She had worked with my brand of aid and was very knowledgeable and helpful. She spent the time to give me a class in cleaning and a lot of good info that I didn’t get when I bought them. I was stressed because we have just started our holiday and thought I may spend the rest of it with just one. She was able to fix it on the spot so no new parts needed. She changed my day to a good one. The staff were also very attentive and helpful.

The doctor was really really good he

did the hearing test and I need a hearing aid but I can't afford one so I have to go somewhere else to get one all right but they were nice people nice friendly good atmosphere everything all right 👍🏽

I have been to multiple hearing offices and Hearing Life in Portland, Oregon on Stark street made me feel welcome from the time I spoke to them in the phone, to entering their friendly, professional, and lighthearted office atmosphere. Tracey, the receptionist, was: helpful, knowledgeable, and very positive. The doctor made me: feel at ease, clearly explained the tests and next procedures and did it all with a smile and relatable demeanor. Getting hearing aids may not be an easy step in one’s life, but they made it seamless and encouraging and I am very grateful for that. I highly recommend using their services.
