Dr. Michael Ruccio received his doctorate degree in Audiology (Au.D.) from Salus University. During his schooling, he clinically rotated through Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware and New York. He served on the national Student Academy of Audiology fundraising committee. Dr. Ruccio is passionate about educating everyone on the importance of regular hearing checks. He has diagnosed and rehabilitated patients of all age groups. Dr. Ruccio grew up with a great-grandfather suffering from a hearing impairment. His connection with his great-grandfather spurred his interest to learn more about the physiology of the ear and hearing.

When he is not talking about the human ear, Dr. Ruccio enjoys exercising and practicing the ukulele. He says, “The music you play is only as good as how much you can hear to enjoy it.”

When walking into the office I was welcomed with a very friendly staff member and the waiting section was comfortable to sit and wait for the doctor. Dr. Ruccio was very pleasant to meet and speak with. He explained everything in an easy to understand detail about my hearing loss and what it meant for me. When discussing hearing aids he was not pushy in trying to up sell me and respected my financial decision with what I did choose. Dr. Ruccio has gone above and beyond in helping make sure my hearing aid is comfortable and that I am able to hear adequately. I would highly recommend his office to anyone looking for hearing assistance and solutions. I am grateful for his help!

Dr Ruccio is one of the best in his field of Audiology. He's young and very good with all the modern technology for us who have hearing loss. Also, he has an amazing receptionist.

We offer hearing assessments and hearing aids at our Hermitage, TN hearing center

If you feel that you may be experiencing hearing problems, you are welcome to call our office at any time and make an appointment. We'll conduct a free hearing screening to see how our advanced hearing aids can improve your quality of life. With the broad selection of hearing aid models we offer, each individual gets the hearing aid that works best for their unique situation. We visit McKendree Village, a retirement community in Hermitage, once a month to provide free servicing of hearing aids to heir residents. This facility also has an assisted living facility and a nursing home. We will visit patients at those as well if needed. We have participated in wellness and health fairs in the community and contributed hearing aids to children whose families could not afford them through a program called the Olive Osmond Hearing Fund. We have worked with a program called Hear Now to offer services and hearing aids to adults who cannot afford hearing aids.

*Testing is used to determine whether fitting a hearing aid is the proper course of action.
