How to open childproof hearing aid battery packaging

If your hearing aids use traditional button or coin batteries, be sure to keep the sticker covering on them until they are ready to use. Exposure to air activates the battery and starts depleting the power immediately.

A new law went into effect in 2024 that requires childproof packaging on all button batteries. If you need pointers for opening this new packaging, check out this video.
