16-year-old Momina Bahram received the gift of hearing from HearingLife’s Campaign for Better Hearing Give Back Program. The organization provided her brand-new hearing aids.
Bahram and her family left Afghanistan for the United States in search of a better life. Her hearing loss has made studying, as well as learning English, more difficult.
“Just getting that hearing loss identified and amplified can really change the entire course of these kids’ lives,” said Riley Terry, a clinical audiologist at HearingLife. New hearing technology will allow Bahram to live life to the fullest, and fulfill her dreams of one day becoming a doctor.
