York, PA native Susan Bordy was given a second chance at hearing with the gift of hearing aids.
Through HearingLife's Campaign for Better Hearing Give Back Program, Bordy received free hearing aids, allowing her to hear clearly for the first time in years.
Although Bordy has had hearing troubles for most of her life, she reached her breaking point when she was unable to hear the words said at her mother’s funeral.
“What we did for Susan was we got her the set of hearing aids that was best for her hearing loss, and she just gets to wear them and start enjoying her life, which is beautiful,” said hearing specialist Kathleen Scheydt.
The Campaign for Better Hearing chooses one individual to receive a free set of hearing aids each month.
