The Campaign for Better Hearing, supported by HearingLife, is gifting a pair of new hearing aids to Kearie Barnes through their Give Back Program. Kearie has bilateral otosclerosis, a condition that causes severe hearing loss in both ears. She is the main caregiver for her son, who has a traumatic head injury, and after hearing her story, Kearie’s audiologist nominated her for the Campaign for Better Hearing Give Back Program. She was fitted by audiologist Christy Burns at our Savannah, GA office.
Kearie can now hear her son communicate his needs a lot easier. She explains that “being able to hear means more than any money in the world.”
